Whether you’re welcoming guests, supporting competitions, assisting behind the scenes, or helping create a positive and inclusive environment, your time and talents will make a lasting impact.
No matter your background or experience, there’s a role for you. Volunteering is a chance to connect with your community, build new skills, meet incredible people, and be inspired by the determination and achievements of our athletes.

Please note all volunteers will need to obtain/present a Police Record Check, that has been completed in the last year. If you are a resident of North Bay, these can be obtained through the North Bay Police Service. If you are a resident of the surrounding area, yours can be obtained through the Ontario Provincial Police. These can take a few weeks to process so we encourage you to start this process as early as possible. To assist with your application, please download this letter from Special Olympics Ontario, outlining the request for your record check, this will need to accompany your application with both the NBPS or OPP.
