North East Ontario is bringing a strong team to the 2024 Waterloo Region Provincial Spring Games, with 31 athletes and 11 coaches all set to participate! The lineup includes 6 athletes showcasing their skills in 10 Pin Bowling, 9 showing off their strength in powerlifting, 2 demonstrating their rhythmic prowess, and 14 athletes making waves in swimming! What is one fun fact about you?
I love bad jokes, telling them and laughing when someone else tells them. I do not like mascots and my least favourite food is pancakes!
What are you most looking forward to at the 2024 Provincial Spring Games?
Very much looking forward to the athletes from 2020 being able to compete at games they have trained so hard for. I also love watching athletes accomplish personal bests. The excitement of games for athletes, coaches and volunteers is always so contagious.

Winning lots of medals and doing my best and having fun on the trip.
What is your favourite thing about Special Olympics?
Being able to compete in snowshoeing, soccer, floor hockey, track and field and swimming.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2024 Provincial Spring Games?
I’m looking forward to see old friends and make new ones. Having fun and doing the best I can.
What is your favourite thing about Special Olympics?
I like competing in 2 sports, figure skating and rhythmic gymnastics. I also like supporting and encouraging my friends like they support me.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2024 Provincial Spring Games?
I enjoy going out of town away from home to compete in powerlifting with my friends. I like traveling with my friends and seeing the crowds at the competition.
What is your favourite thing about Special Olympics?
I like to compete and enjoy traveling to new places.
